Hi! Thank you for checking my blog out! My name is Carin, I am from Houston, born and raised. I have five siblings. Yep, five! They’re all awesome. We are five girls and one boy. Blessed guy, right? I wanted to pay homage to le parentals, they’ve influenced me a ton, so I named the blog after them, Moti Laine.

I initially started this blog to just share stuff that I thought was cool. After living in New York for a couple of years, I realized how many people are hopeless, lonely, discouraged. I started focusing on topics of faith, trust, believing in God and finding hope in Him. I defined what it means to create with purpose and started The Chai Series, a series that focuses on people who are creating with purpose.

Whether it’s through art, medicine, fashion, sports, writing, business, music or anything else, through all of our unique experiences, in some way or another, we have the opportunity to leave our mark in the world, to positively impact people, to encourage, to be an example in the midst of all the craziness we see on the daily. The possibilities are endless.
