My Attempt At No Sweets for 30 Days

Healthy is most definitely a lifestyle. Too bad I LOVE sweets…cookies, chocolate, ice cream etc. I’m really trying to get in shape/be healthier so I’m trading them in for a month (HELP). Not that easy, but I’ve been going strong for a week πŸ™‚ Hope I can keep this up…I’ve been thinking of giving myself a day off for V-day…good excuse right?

Instead of my favs, Godiva, Haagen Daz Five and warm chocolate chip cookies (so tempting at work. every day.), I’m going for the fresh fruits, dried fruits and nuts! Not too bad. What else, other suggestions?

  1. I also am attempting a 30 day health boost. Check out the whole30 program (whole9life.com), i’ve been on it since Feb 1st, hard to adjust to, especially since i have to cook so much and my meals always turn out too complex for one guy, lol. But hoping it will jumpstart a healthy lifestyle, forever…

  2. Hey! I just started blogging really. Glad you like it πŸ™‚ I don’t cook much, raw is easier/faster lol but that’s great, the 30 day health boost (and complex meals lol). Keep going strong! If you can do it for 3o days, you can do it for forever.

    I think the little to no sweets will last longer than a month for me. Refined sugar is so bad for you.

  3. You made a pecan pie at a functions and the people are still ranting about it. Can you put in on your blog and save my neck? You might like to know that they call it the no guilt goodie.
